Goatee Trimming And Maintenance

Goatee trimming is something you'll need to do once your goatee has grown out and has gotten a bit straggly.

Depending on your personal preference and what suits you, you'll need to decide for yourself how long you want to keep your goatee.

My suggestion is to buy an electric trimmer for goatee trimming. I bought a $20 cordless goatee trimmer two years ago after spending way too much time trimming my goatee with scissors.

Using a goatee trimmer like the one I have ensures that your goatee is symmetrical and neat.

Also, the built in length selector enables me to select the length of the hair rather than guessing with a pair of scissors.

My trimmer gives me three different length choices.

When it comes to goatee shaping around the sides, you'll probably find that you either prefer an electric shaver or a manual razor (or both).

Personally, I use my electric shaver but you can also get a very close trim around your nose (ie. above your lip) with a small manual razor if that's the style you're looking for.
