The Hair Piece Option

A hair piece or toupee is an old-style hair loss solution that generally involves use of a wig or similar option that sits on your head and might be affixed with adhesives to keep it in place.

The hair piece is different from a hair system in that the hair system is physically attached to your scalp usually with a glue-like adhesive and is meant to last for several months.

The hair piece on the other hand can be removed and replaced at your pleasure and as it suits you.

Most of us have probably seen movies and maybe even seen people in real life with very noticeable hair pieces.

Certainly, it's one of those standby jokes that is often used in movies to get a quick laugh.

Sometimes, the poor quality ones are noticeable a mile away and often look very bad especially if the hair used is synthetic.

Newer style hair pieces use human hair and can be more professional and not noticeable to the naked eye, even when you are standing near the person wearing it which is obviously the goal of wearing one.

Of course, if you are wearing a hair piece you can probably imagine the horror you'd experience if someone noticed you were wearing one and made a comment about it.
