Hair Removal Cream
Nair is a popular form of hair removal cream and there are other products on the market that offer temporary hair removal too.
First off, I'm not a big fan of hair removal cream. I tried Nair products years ago and all I can remember is how smelly they were, how messy I got using them and how the results barely lasted a few days before the prickly hairs started growing back.
So now that I've admitted my bias against this sort of product (and the fact that I haven't used any hair removal cream in years) I've been made aware of the fact that the stinkyness of these products has apparently been improved upon since I last tried them. What hasn't changed from what I've been able to find out is that the results last several days at best, before the hair starts growing back above the skin.
Essentially, hair removal cream is smeared on the skin to be treated, left on the skin for a recommended period of time, and then wiped or washed off depending on what the manufacturer recommends. The hair is chemically removed from above the skin. This is where the messiness is noticed especially as you try to avoid getting the hair removal cream on any part(s) of your body that you don't want any hair removed from!
Hair removal creams are chemical products and in my experience, you can burn your skin slightly if you're not careful and leave the product on too long or get it on skin that you shouldn't.
Hair removal cream can be used on areas like arms, underarms, legs and the bikini area but mark me down as someone that will continue to avoid these products for the above-mentioned reasons.
