Why I Set Up This Website

Hi, my name is Carl! My experience with various hair removal options inspired me to build this site so I hope you find it helpful.

In general terms, hair removal might be of interest to you for several reasons.

It could be for aesthetic reasons where you simply want to remove hair to look better.

You might desire hair removal for athletic reasons, if unwanted hair could negatively affect your performance.

You might simply be looking for temporary hair removal advice when it comes to shaving or waxing or even laser treatment.

In each case, you'll find some great resources on this site for each of those topics and many more.

To get the most out of this site, I suggest checking out each of the main links on the left hand side menu to ensure you don't miss anything.

You can also use the Sitemap to navigate your way through the site or to relocate a specific page that you once visited but can't find again.

Among other things, you'll see that I have sections on the Navigation Bar at the left hand side of each web page on this site that lead to you Male Hair Removal and Female Hair Removal options, among others.

Hopefully, one of those two options will help to get you started on this site.

Why Did I Set Up This Site?

First off, when I was wondering about various hair removal options for myself, I basically did the research myself.

When I was first considering hair removal options, the Internet didn't really exist (in its current form anyways) so I had to basically call up hair removal practitioners and get information from them myelf.

Needless to say, you don't get too many people giving you the pros and cons of various options!

I just wanted to get an honest lowdown on each option and I'm not saying they lied to me but let's face it, they wanted to make the sale and get me as a paying customer. They run businesses, afterall.

In hindsight, it would have certainly been beneficial for me to hear from people who had already had hair removal treatment so I could learn about their experience.

That's why I set up this website. I hope that my experience helps you figure out what options are available to you.

I'm not a doctor or a medical professional but I can certainly tell you my experience with many of the hair removal options contained on this site.

I've also discussed my head shaving experience on this site since it's somewhat of a related topic since it does refer to a particular type of hair removal!

You might also be wondering how I set up my site. Am I a web designer in my "real" life? Am I an IT professional who likes to dabble in web design?

Nope.

In fact, before setting up my first website (as of July 2006, I have 5 websites running) I had no prior web design experience whatsoever.

Yes, I built this site (and the others) by myself!

OK, I had a little bit of help...

I use a great web hosting service that is far beyond what a regular web hosting service offers.

My web host puts all the graphics together and helped me build my site block by block, page by page, even though I had no prior web design experience at all.

They take away the fear of building a website and they eliminate the need to look for a cost effective web designer since I do that work myself...with their help of course. All for the fraction of the price of hiring a web designer to do this for me.

Better yet, they show me how I can earn money running this site, even though I'm giving away the information contained on the site for free.
