The Hair System Option

A hair system is a general term for a hair loss solution that involves using human hair (other people's hair, not yours) usually weaved into some sort of matrix or base which is then glued or affixed in some way to your head to hold the system in place.



It may also make use of sticker-like adhesives to further hold the hair unit in place.

It is a non-surgical, non-invasive procedure that involves no pain because there is no transplantation.

You've probably seen tv commercials for several particular companies that offer this sort of solution.

They typically show before and after shots of men and women and show them playing sports, swimming and doing all the things they did before they had the treatment.

The difference is that they now have a full head of hair again.

These types of systems generally need to be maintained by returning to the vendor and having them replace hairs that have fallen out of the matrix through washing, combing and regular day to day activities.

The systems also tend to involve using special shampoos and/or conditioners that you buy from the vendor.

Finally, the systems need to be replaced after several years or possibly less. Again, you buy the replacement from your vendor.

Obviously, the ongoing costs of the maintenance, shampoo, conditioners and replacement systems are yours to bear.

Finally, there is always the chance that someone somehow finds out that you're wearing a system which could cause you a great deal of embarrassment.

The last thing you'd want of course is to be self-conscious of wearing one and constantly worrying that someone would find out, too.

Hair systems have certainly improved immensely but at the end of the day, it involves placing someone else's hair on top of yours in a semi-permanent fashion and is a solution that needs to be replaced and maintained which means that ongoing costs are a consideration you'll need to keep in mind.

Having said that, hair systems involve no surgery or invasiveness.
