Philips electric shaver

After a less than successful time using a Braun electric shaver, I took it back for a refund, taking up Braun on their 60 day money back guarantee.

Instead, I decided to go back to the Philips brand which I've been using successfully for the past 10 years or so. I had initially decided to replace my old rechargeable Philips shaver that no longer charged properly and decided to get a Braun cruZer since it can not only be used as a shaver but as a beard trimmer too. Since I have a goatee this was an appealing feature.

Once I'd used it for a few weeks though, I was reminded about why I'd left Braun and switched to a Philips rotary shaver in the first place: The Braun single-foil shavers are simply sub par on my neck. It regularly leaves uncut hairs on my neck and this really bothers me.

In my experience, the Philips lift and cut rotary head shavers suit me better. They do a great job on my face and neck and when I'm on holiday I'll often use it to shave my head too which good results.

The Philips 7340 model that I bought is a rechargeable model (which I like. No cord to worry about) and it's washable too. I can run the head of the shaver underneath a tap to clean it out which is handy as well.

All in all, I think I'll be sticking to the Philips brand and the 3 rotary head shavers that they produce. Perhaps you have a different experience and if so, I'd love to hear about it and to post your story on this website for others to read.
